Overview

Zion National Park is a land of wonders, with beautiful views of the mountains, hikes around every corner, starlit nights to see the Milky Way, and hidden gems like river hiking in The Narrows. Three hours from Vegas, it’s a reclusive spot to expand your lungs and settle your mind.

This is an ambitious, jam-packed itinerary for those who want to see it all in a long weekend. For more downtime and relaxation, add an extra day.

  • Spend days 1–2 entirely in Zion.
  • If you’re willing to make the drive three hours farther, on day 3 you can hit Page, Arizona to see Antelope Canyon, the Glen Canyon Dam, and Horseshoe Bend.
  • On day 4, relax along the river and see a few shorter trails in Zion, then head back to Vegas for a night of fun at the end of the trip.
  • Fly home on day 5.
