This is on point. I have noticed time and again how people will only speak up or follow after a true leader cuts a path first. It's due to an underlying fear of failure, which makes leadership that much more impressive, when going against the grain is so antithetical to humans' evolved psychological and social safety. Don't be afraid to be amazing... or different.
